Sunday 2nd April 2017, is set to be a real “mix of national flags” event – French, Italian and British.
Steyning is set to welcome back the fabulous French Market which will open at 10.30 am. and close around 4pm.
They will be crossing the Channel to bring us all things Francophile - foodie temptations such as French regional cheeses, freshly baked bread, patisserie products, olives, French sausages and cooked meats, garlic and crepes with a variety of fillings cooked before your eyes, plus other hot take-away dishes. The non-foodie stalls with feature handbags, hats, scarves, jewellery, French posters, giftware, clothing, Provencal soaps and much, much more.
To add to the excitement, at 2pm the roar of super cars will once again hit the Steyning High Street, when exotic Italian machines such as Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini (and a smattering of other fantastic marques) will blast into town, resting for 45 minutes to give time for some serious drooling over the fantastic engines! These cars are some of the superb examples that will be on show during the Horsham Piazza Italia Festival, which is held over the Easter weekend in Horsham Town Centre, but Steyning is having a very special preview.
Why not make a day of it and enjoy all that Steyning has to offer; browse the historic High Street and treat yourself to coffee, tea or lunch at one of the many cafes, restaurants and pubs. A wonderful outing enjoying the beautiful English setting of Steyning on the edge of the glorious South Downs National Park – what a fantastic combination! A great day out for ALL the family, and definitely a hot date to put in your diary right now.
